Yeah, because comments like this don’t make you an asshole or anything.

This country’s wealth was built on the back of slaves. Our aboriginals were pushed to the edge of extinction and starved out of their ancestral homes. Our forefathers stripped every last ounce of mineral and biological wealth out of the land with little regard for those who would follow.

Capitalism works on the twin principles of selfishness and greed. Every last dollar in our pockets is stained with the blood of people who were unfortunate enough to have been born either dark-skinned or soft-hearted. I may well be an asshole, but I know better than to play their game on their terms.
